4 - 18 December: Valery Duval

Val has trained in over ten types of martial arts since 1990 and competed in Taekwondo, stick fighting and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Jitsu. Val has previously operated a martial arts fitness centre, has trained and competed in powerlifting, has trained and performed as an actor and stuntman on stage and TV and has recently been heavily focused on gymnastics.

Val will focus his residency on the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and stick fighting, with each session building on the last. There is no minimum physical ability required.

Alpha Gymnastics Sunday Residency Workshops provide affordable access to skilled professionals at the top of their field. Alpha Gymnastics will host different professional movement specialists ranging from acrobats to martial artists and beyond. These sessions provide the opportunity to learn the arts of movement from otherwise unattainable specialists who have been honing their craft for years. Sessions will run on Sunday mornings for four-week periods.
